What is a Neuromodulator?

Neuromodulators also known as neurotoxins are wrinkle-relaxing injections of botulinum toxin. The most common brands are Botox, Xeomin, Dysport and Jeuveau and they are used to treat wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. A small amount of the neuromodulator is injected directly into the underlying muscle, causing it to relax and gradually smooth out the appearance of the overlying skin. The effects typically last about three months.

What is Kybella?

Kybella is a non-surgical injectable used to target and dissolve pockets of fat. The most common application is used to reduce the appearance of a “double chin”. Kybella can also be used to reduce pockets of fat in certain areas of the body such as the bra-line or back of arms.
