In fact, back in the early 1800’s French royals had bee-houses on property and used the bee as a symbol of power and prestige. Combine powerful honey with one of our other favorite ingredients lavender and you have the makings for a great facial. Lavender has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
DIY FRENCH IMPERIAL SPA FACIAL
Before beginning any at home facial it is important to thoroughly cleanse your skin first. Mix one tablespoon of raw honey or Manuka honey with 2-3 drops of Lavender essential oil. Apply to your face and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Use a warm washcloth to wipe off.
