Microneedling is rapidly becoming one of the most popular treatments in the anti-aging industry and for good reason. This minimally invasive treatment provides a plethora of benefits including improving skin texture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, skin tightening, scar reduction (including acne scars), and fading of stretch marks. What is microneedling?

Microneedling is the use of a device called a dermapen that uses fine needles to create thousands of controlled invisible micro-injuries to the deepest layer of the skin. These micro-injuries then trigger the body to heal itself by producing new collagen and elastin. These micro-injuries also allow for deeper penetration of topical products applied before and after the treatment. We use a combination of hyularonic acid and growth factors before the treatment to hydrate, plump and firm the skin and post treatment we apply a vitamin C repair cream and sunscreen to heal and protect the skin.

Does it hurt?

No! We apply prescription strength numbing cream to the entire treatment area for 10-15 minutes before the treatment. Our clients report they can feel the machine glide against their skin but do not describe the treatment as painful.

How long does it take?

The procedure itself takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the body area. However, we schedule and hour and half for each client to ensure we have enough time for a pre-consultation (to discuss the procedure, review your history and discuss your skin care concerns), time to do a pre-cleanse and apply numbing cream, the length of the procedure, apply post procedure healing serums and sunscreen, and discuss post treatment care and follow-up.

How many treatments do I need?

How long do I need to wait between treatments?

When doing a series treatments are done every 2-4 weeks depending on the individual. This allows enough time for healing between treatments and is soon enough that the body is still in the collagen rebuilding process. After you complete your series, maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months.

How long does it take to see results?

You will see an improvement in the look of your skin as soon as a few days post treatment. Full results are seen in 3 months due to the collagen rebuilding process.

How much does it cost?

Glo How To: Daybreak Eye Shadow Quad

Each shade is a gorgeous addition to our core line, but we kept hearing “these four colors would make an amazing quad!” We listened to your feedback and created the Daybreak Eye Shadow Quad as a limited edition item! Our National Makeup Artist, Janeena, created this look using the Daybreak Eye Shadow Quad and we think it’s the perfect fall variation on a classic smoky eye.


Step
1: Apply Eye Shadow in coy to entire lid and into crease using the Eye Blender Brush

Step
2: Using the Crease Brush, apply Eye Shadow in vintage to crease – focusing on creating a slight “v” towards the outer corner of the eye

3: Apply dove to the lower lashline using the Mini Crease Brush

Step
4: Blend graphite into the crease with the Eye Blender Brush and blend all shades together. Then, using a small amount of product, smudge graphite into the lower lashline.
